Equinox, Greens and Eggs

Happy Spring, officially!  

The time of Greens, greens, greens.  A few ideas on how to cook them at our recipe page.  Remember, they are also amazing RAW!

In honor of Spring, our chickens, ducks and geese are laying and laying and laying! Through the Spring CSA, Good Life offers an additional Egg Share- $30 for every other week pastured, organic-grain fed eggs from chicken, duck or goose- until May 30... contact Melissa to sign up! melissa@thegoodlifefarm.org.

First Spring CSA distribution this week!

Hooray!  We made it!  Barely... with all the warm weather, our stockpiled greens bolted like mad!  As a result, our share this week includes a lot of happy flowerettes- still very tender and lovely to eat raw, but we also posted two recipe suggestions for using them in a rapini-like manner.  See our Recipe page.

Amazing!  We had such a flood of support and interest in our new Spring CSA that we are now sold out for March and April.  However, we are taking on a few more members for May only, so please check that out!  All delivery options will apply, and most add-on's!

Our friends at the Crooked Carrot continue to sell their CSK (Community Supported Kitchen) shares of local, wholesome prepared food.  Please check out what they offer for March, April and May and ask how you can hook up with them at Good Life pick-ups and deliveries!  Follow them at www.crookedcarrotcsk.com.

Wolftree Farm chicken shares include 6 pasture-raised, organic grain-fed chickens and a Culinary Chicken Kit! New Delivery Site for the Spring CSA- The Piggery!

More developments in our inaugural Spring CSA!  Thanks to continued feedback from our CSA members, we developed a new Ithaca group delivery option.  It took us a little while to work it out, but thanks to the generosity of Brad Marshall and Heather Sandford, we now offer a third option in the get-your-food menu.
